Alliance Appliance was built on family values, military dedication, and a passion for helping others. It all started in 2017 when Tom launched the business as a side hustle from his garage while serving as an active duty Combat Medic in the U.S. Army. Inspired by his late father's company, Aladdin Services, the original name was Aladdin Appliance - a nod to the family legacy of service and hands-on care for our community.
In 2019, Tom transitioned to the Army Reserves and took the business full time, driven by a mission to offer affordable, dependable appliances and repair services to the community. As the business grew, so did its identity. The name changed to Alliance Appliance in 2024, reflecting both its evolution and its deeper purpose - to be a true ally in affordability to local families.
By 2022, the dream came full circle with the opening of our first storefront. Today, Alliance Appliance stands as a proud, veteran-owned business committed to providing high-quality appliances, fair prices, and genuine support to the community we call home.
Tom's passion for appliances started early, riding along on service calls with his dad, who owned Aladdin Services. Even as a kid, he was fascinated by the hands-on work and the opportunity to help people in their homes. After his father passed away when Tom was just 8 years old, that passion stayed with him, becoming a lasting connection to the values his dad instilled.
Tom went on to work for another local appliance company before joining the U.S. Army in 2012, where he served as a Combat Medic on active duty. In 2019, he transitioned to the Army Reserves to focus on growing what had started as a side hustle - Alliance Appliance (formerly Aladdin Appliance). By 2023, Tom medically retired from the military, fully committing to his mission of making appliances affordable and accessible for the community.
As a veteran, business owner, and father himself, Tom brings heart, grit, and purpose to every part of Alliance Appliance. His journey is one of service - both to his country and to the customers who walk through our doors.
